Candy Cane Caprese Salad with MCT Oil

Can a salad be any more festive and cute ? Make this Candy Cane Caprese Salad topped with our  Organic MCT Oil to make your holidays even brighter. The traditional combination of tomato, mozzarella, basil and balsamic glaze is even more magical with the addition of our MCT Oil. It’s the perfect plate for this time of year and a definite showstopper at your next holiday party !


Yields about 2 Candy Canes 

Fresh Baguette, sliced into ½ inch thick pieces, toasted

16 ounces, Fresh Mozzarella Cheese, sliced into ¼ inch thick rounds

4 – 5 Medium Tomato, sliced into ¼ inch thick slices

Handful of Fresh Basil

2 tbsp Balsamic Glaze

1-2 ounces  Organic MCT Oil

1 tbsp Italian Seasoning

Salt to taste


  1. Arrange the Tomato and Mozzarella on a platter in the shape of a candy cane, alternating Tomato slices and Mozzarella rounds.
  2. Place Basil leaves in between each layer, scattering throughout the candy cane.
  3. Drizzle with Organic MCT Oil and Balsamic Glaze.
  4. Season with Italian Seasoning and Salt.
  5. Serve with toasted Baguette.
